U.S. Patent No. 7,453,032 (granted) and U.S. Patent No. 7,847,150 (granted) covers all varieties of double-type Kalanchoe interspecific hybrids that produce one or more flowers with at least 5 full or partial petals per flower.

U.S. Patent No. 7,453,032 and U.S. Patent No. 7,847,150 is a property right granted by the United States government that gives its owner, Knud Jepsen a/s, the right to exclude other entities from:

  • making, using (e.g. in breeding and experimental work), offering for sale, or selling, throughout the United States, or
  • importing into the United States,
